But did you know you could get the benefits of tea even could help you clear up your complexion and obtain a natural healthy glow?

Tea is full of antioxidants, catechins, and amino acids that work to fight aging, help stimulate collagen production, promote the reduction of body fat, and maintain healthy skin cells. Of course by its very nature also fights dehydration, a major culprit of dull skin, unlike those many soda’s or even diet soda’s that flood the market. Tea also has the metabolism boosting antioxidant EGCG which is also excellent at fighting free radicals that are known to premature aging. Think of tea as an easy and delightful way to provide yourself with a hydrating skin treatment.

Healthy Eats: Salmon with Smoked Salmon Butter

    Ingredients:

    • 1 ounce smoked salmon
    • 1 whole stick of butter
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • 1 tablespoon Renovation Tea: Grilling Herbs
    • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
    • 1 ½ pounds salmon fillet with skin, in 4 equal pieces
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions:

    1. Leave butter out to become soft.
    2. In a small bowl add butter and smoked salmon.
    3. Using a fork, mix together the butter, lemon zest, Renovation Tea: Grilling herbs and smoke salmon until smooth and well combined. Place in fridge to solidify.
    4. In a large frying pan, on medium-high heat add oil and brush to coat entire surface. Pat fish dry, salt and pepper to taste and place fillets, flesh side down, in pan. Increase heat to high and cook until flesh has seared. Turn the fillets and sear until the skin side has browned and the fish has reached the desired degree of doneness.
    5. While fish cooks, remove the butter from the fridge and slice into 4 equal portions.
    6. When salmon is done place a portion of the smoke and seasoning infused salmon butter on top of each fillet and serve.
    7. Enjoy!
